Participation

2008-2009 (July)
Participated in the ICICTE 2008 and ICICTE 2009 conference held in Corfu, Greece. Each time led workshops, moderated sessions during the conference, and was one of the judges on the panel of the Student Paper Prize. Also designed the website, and produced all the conference material.

 

2007 (July) Participated (presented and moderated) in ICICTE 2007 in Crete. During the conference was given a "Friend of the Conference" award for contributions to the success of the ICICTE conferences. Produced all the conference materials for this edition of the conference and was part of the Scientific Committee.

 

2007 (April) Participated in an open forum discussion organised in Malmö, Sweden, by Professor Peter Dahlgren on Media and Citizenship.

 

2007 (March) Presented a poster session ("Hypertextual Processing as a Result of New Media Usage") at the Biennial Conference Computer Assisted Learning (CAL) at Trinity College, Dublin, Republic of Ireland.

 

2006 (October) Participated in the Fourth Eden Research Workshop: Research into Online Distance Education and E-learning: Making the difference, 25-28 October, 2006 Castelldefels, Spain.

 

2006 (July) Participated in the ICICTE conference in Rhodes, Greece, organised by the University College of the Frazier Valley, B.C. Canada, and the University of the East Aegean, Greece. 1999-2004 Attended three ICICTE Conferences organised by INEAG on Samos Island, Greece. Read papers in two of them and was part of the scientific committee of the 2004 conference.

2001-2004 Was evaluator, lecturer and participant in a number of Comenius projects in Malta, Denmark (Randers), Spain (Barcelona).

1998-2003 Attended a number of conferences and meetings related to Educational Technology (for ex. Leeds, UK; Copenhagen, Denmark; and Milan, Italy).
